Invest in Bitcoin or Litecoin for small amounts?

I'm very new to the market and getting a feel for it. I purchased .03 BTC last week and looking to invest a little more into cryptocurrency.
I think I may buy 2-3 Litecoins tomorrow. After that I'm looking at investing about $20 a week into either Bitcoin or Litecoin.
Which one would you recommend for this smaller weekly investment? I'm sure I may get some biased views given the subreddit I'm in but could greatly use some advice.

The true reason why people don't buy crytocurrency

It's not the risk, it's not the unfamiliarity, it's the ease of access. I believe if we made the speed a lot faster and easier, most people would be down to exchange 100 USD or even 500 USD to take a risk in this new growing field. I've talked to my friends about investing in bitcoin or litecoin, but after showing them the process, a lot of them said they weren't willing to wait 2 weeks for pending transactions and other road blocks. A lot of my friends are complaining how steam takes your money quickly and gives you the game right there and then. Which I agree with, it would suck to see your favorite steam game go on sale, and when steam wants to approve your game, the sale is finally over. I believe the people behind crytocurrencies are trying their best to find ways to make it easier to buy, but it's at a turtles pace. The more people buy, the better it will be for everyone. Strangely the best way to buy bitcoin is to go to a local BitATM IRL.

Should I invest more in Altcoins or play in safe and just invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin etc?

Hi, I’m new to the world of Cryptocurrency and am finding it fascinating. I am just wondering should I just invest in top 10 ICOs or put more into upcoming ones? Also how many investments should someone have in their portfolio, is it better to have loads of little investments or put a lot more into a select few? Thanks!

Investing in cryptocurrencies (Bitcoins and litecoins). Also absinthe question

Anyone investing in bitcoins or litecoins? Litecoins are skyrocketing right now (a week ago, they used to be 2 cents; now they are 48 cents) and bitcoins are holding steady. It's very easy to trade between the two currencies anonymously as well. I have around 10 bitcoins that I saved up and didn't know what to do with them. I have two choices. Use some for absinthe on the road and convert the rest to bitcoin or keep 50 % bitcoins and 50 % litecoins. I always wanted to try absinthe but didn't know if it was actually worth it.
EDIT: Finally able to log into SR forums.

Pulling my IRA to invest in crypto currency. In your opinion- do I invest in bitcoin, ethereum, or litecoin?

Edit: I have $1,000 in my IRA which I pulled out this morning. I want to invest it instead because I think I will receive a higher return than keeping it at 2% earnings safely. I already paid taxes on it and everything. What’s done is done. The due diligence part is beginning now and I am not putting my money anywhere until I am more certain. Just trying to gather ideas. Thanks :)
Update: I ended up investing my entire IRA plus $500 for a total of $1500 in September. I now have $3000 two months later.

Should I also invest in Litecoin and Ethereum or stick to Bitcoin like I have been doing?

So every couple weeks I put a few hundred into bitcoin... should I be splitting that money up among these 3 cryptocurrencies or should I continue to put it all in bitcoin? What is your opinion?
